ADAM PULSKAMP

[He/Him/His]
President

Adam was born in Cincinnati and attended the University of Cincinnati, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. He moved to Columbus in October 2017 for a new role with his company. Adam enjoys the growing Columbus social scene of stores and restaurants. As a resident of Downtown, Adam enjoys walking and taking the bus to explore the city's evolving culture.


Outside of work Adam enjoys volunteering, playing volleyball and kickball as well as going to sporting and social events

KYLE RICHARDS

Finance Director

Kyle Richards grew up in Mason, OH and attended Indiana University graduating with a Bachelor's in Business Finance. He moved to Columbus in early 2015 where he made this community his home. Kyle currently works for OhioHealth as a Real Estate Manager and is a member of their Diversity and Inclusion committee. He has been a part of Stonewall Sports - Columbus since the inaugural season. 


In Kyle's free-time, he enjoys traveling, running, playing volleyball and spending time with his family, his boyfriend John and their dog Dottie.


VAIBHAV MURTHY

Communications Director

Vaibhav (V) was born and raised in India, and moved to the US in 2012. He got his Bachelor's in Genetics and Neuroscience from the University of Minnesota- Minneapolis following which he moved to Columbus (OSU) to pursue his Ph.D.In his free time, V enjoys cooking, shopping and watching queer romance movies/TV shows. V is passionate about making scientific research accessible and approachable to public audiences and relating it to current social and political issues.

ALEXANDER HENRY

Events Director

Alexander was born and raised in Youngstown (Austintown), Ohio, relocating to Columbus in May 2014. Alexander is a 2014 Bethany College graduate (Political Science), West Virginia's oldest institution for higher education. He joined Stonewall Sports Columbus in the fall of 2018.


In his free time, Alexander enjoys volunteering to his fraternity, Beta Theta Pi, as Chapter Counselor, rooting for the Steelers, and spending time with family and friends.

LAURA VASBINDER

[She/Her/Hers]
Sponsorship Director

Laura Vasbinder grew up in Columbus, OH and attended Otterbein University graduating with a Bachelor's in Public Relations and a minor in Art. She was a member of the Otterbein Women’s Soccer team and was the assistant coach for a year after graduating. Laura currently works for Covetrus North America as a Senior Strategic Account Manager. She has been part of Stonewall Sports - Columbus since 2019. 


In Laura’s free-time, she enjoys traveling, working out, playing volleyball and spending time with her family, friends, and two dogs, Charlie and Frankie. 

MATTHEW RICE

Operations Director

Matthew grew up in Marion, OH and graduated from Bowling Green State University with a Bachelor degree in Recreation and Tourism. He moved in 2013 to Columbus for an internship at COSI and knew Columbus was where he wanted to call home. 

Matt likes to cook, entertain gatherings, staying active, and always welcomes new friends. If you ever see him out and about, feel free to introduce yourself and say hi.  

JOHN FOLK

Sports Director

John was born and raised in Powell, OH, attended Miami University, and graduated with a Bachelor's in Manufacturing Engineering. He currently works as a Manufacturing Engineer at Bath & Body Works. John grew up playing soccer and swimming and even swam at the collegiate club level.

Since college, John continues to stay active with running, sand volleyball, swimming, and has enjoyed participating in Stonewall Sports - Columbus since the inaugural season. John enjoys travelling, cooking, spending time with friends, his boyfriend Kyle and their adorable, energetic golden retrievers Dottie & Luna.

TIM VALENZA

Sports Director

Tim is originally from Cleveland, OH where he served on the board of directors for Stonewall Sports - Cleveland from May 2016 to July 2018 before relocating to Columbus the following month. He's participated in the past several national tournaments competing in his favorite sport: dodgeball. To Tim, Stonewall Sports is about creating an inclusive space for all LGBTQIA+ individuals and allow everyone to have a place they feel at home. 

In his free time, Tim is an avid video gamer with a growing vinyl collection of indie-pop music. He also enjoys biking around the city, attending concerts, and enjoying game nights with friends.

DIANA LEYVA

[She/Her/Hers]
Sports Director

Diana was born and raised in San Luis Potosi, Mexico. After finishing her dental degree she attended the University of Southern California to obtain her master’s degree and a clinical certificate in restorative dentistry. She went back to Mexico to be a faculty professor where she supervised graduate students in dental clinics, laboratories and research projects. She came to Columbus to pursue her PhD at The Ohio State University.

She has been part of Stonewall Sports - Columbus since the inaugural season. 

In her free time, Diana enjoys outdoor activities, traveling, indoor rock climbing, board and video games, dancing and in general having a good time with friends!

ETHAN GOODMAN

Sports Director

Ethan grew up in Asheville, NC and attended Northern Arizona University, graduating with a Bachelor's of Science in Psychology and Criminal Justice. He moved to Cleveland in 2014 to attend Cleveland State University where he obtained a Master in Public Administration with a focus in education policy. Ethan moved to Columbus in 2019 to pursue a new career as a Legislative Aide in the Ohio House of Representatives. He joined stonewall sports in 2016. 

 

In his free time, Ethan takes part in his community garden where he grown fruit, vegetables, and herbs that he uses to cook delicious, home-made meals with. Ethan enjoys hiking, camping, dancing and attending concerts, making new friends, and going on adventures. His favorite color is light blue and his lucky number is 6.     

ROBERTO RODRIGUEZ

Member-at-large

Roberto is a Michigan native who graduated from Michigan State University in the college of Communications Arts and Sciences. Roberto is a graduate of Project Diversity and Pride Leadership and works in the Community Engagement department at the Columbus Metropolitan Library. Roberto's hobbies include playing video and board games with friends, going to concerts and writing and playing music.
 

Fun Fact: Roberto held his own broadcast radio show for two school years.

TONY FUNG

Member-at-large

Tony brings 13 years of experience in shopper marketing, including traditional and digital marketing.  He leads Bob Evans Farms shopper marketing and e-commerce strategy and execution across multiple channels.  

Outside of work Tony enjoys traveling, working out and volunteering as well as getting to know people and building relationship in the community

JEREMY DRUHOT

SECRETERY

Jeremy grew up in Napoleon, a small town in northwest Ohio. He moved to Columbus in 2011 to attend The Ohio State University and earn his Bachelor of Arts and his Master of Public Administration. Today he works for the Columbus-Franklin County Finance Authority, managing a local government program that finances investment in energy efficiency and renewable energy in the Columbus region.

Jeremy and his partner Cory live in North Linden with their cat Sabrina and dog Korra. In his free time he loves to garden, cook, read, and go biking.

ROBERT LEIS

Immediate Past Board President & National Board Representative

Rob Leis is a Victory Institute 2020 graduate, possessing a dedication to using institutions of the public to uplift, support, and expand equity for marginalized communities. Having founded the Stonewall Sports - Columbus Chapter in 2017 and serving as President through 2020, he is now the Chapter Liaison Director for Stonewall Sports, Inc. As a 2019 Fellow of New Leaders Council - Columbus, Rob later joined the Board of Directors and currently serves as the Selections Vice-Chair. He is also the Vice President of Kaleidoscope Youth Center, the largest and longest-standing organization in Ohio solely dedicated to serving and supporting queer youth.
