A huge Thank You to all of the leaders who came out in support of the Columbus Queer community.

We extended an invite to all leaders of other queer sports leagues and social community groups to find ways to work together building a stronger and more supportive community.  Topics included creating collaborative social events, sharing each other's events so that we can show up and cheer each other on, increasing inclusivity, as well as coordinating when and where we hold events so players can participate in more than one activity in a day.

This was the start of a new wave of energy and collaboration that we all agreed the region needs. 

 

We will be meeting multiple times a year to brainstorm and share, so if you don't see a leader from a group you are a part of, please tell them to reach out to us.  We emailed every group in town, not all were able to make it, but we want to keep this momentum growing.
